Water and Sanitation

In Olilim and the neighboring villages, open defecation is still common and water-related illnesses are still rampant, often undermining many development efforts.
We encourage people to build latrines.
Olaforent always carry out sanitation sessions which cover hand washing, the importance of using a latrine, boiling drinking water, bathing for personal hygiene, safe cooking, washing clothes, and other issues.
                                               Lack of clean water sources
Building a latrine can cost US$800
